GENE EXPRESSION & PROFILING SYSTEM

Nanostring nCounter SPRINT

The nCounter® SPRINT Profiler makes access to NanoString’s molecular barcode technology. It is possible to digitally examine multiple pathways in a single tube in an extraction-free workflow requiring only 10 minutes of hands-on time. All sample types, including FFPE tissue can be used. Analysis of 10s to 100s of targets simultaneously can be done using single-tube multiplexing.

QuantStudio™ 7

Real-time PCR is a form of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) where data are collected in real-time as the reaction proceeds.

  • The QuantStudio™ 7 Flex Real-Time PCR System delivers the proven reliability, sensitivity and accuracy.
  • This system consists of six filters, 96 well thermal block format and we can use up to 21 colour combinations for multiplexing.
  • It can be used for many applications like Gene expression, genotyping, copy number variation, HRM, protein thermal shift, protein detection and microRNA analysis.
QuantStudio™ 5
  • The QuantStudio™ 5 Real-Time PCR System is ideal for all levels of users who need a high-performance instrument with features for maximum experiment control.
  • This system’s OptiFlex™ technology with 6 decoupled channels, 21 filter combinations and white LED enables optimal well-to-well and instrument-to-instrument accuracy and maximum multiplexing.
Eppendorf RT RealPlex4
  • The RealPlex4 carries a fast 96-well heating block, which cuts down assay run-time.
  • The system can also generate a thermal gradient from left to right, which is easy to set up and aids PCR optimization greatly.
  • Depending on the complexity of the PCR assay, the RealPlex4 performs four to five complete runs per day, including set-up and report generation.
  • The RealPlex4 has four color filters, enabling fluorescence monitoring at the following wavelengths: 520, 550, 580 & 620 nm.
  • This means that it is immediately compatible with the majority of reporting dyes.
  • Importantly, for people who routinely use TaqMan® Mastermix from Applied Biosystems, the RealPlex4 can detect ROX passive dye, and easily normalize base-line fluorescence levels, minimizing experimental variation between multiplets, and giving more accurate results.
  • This can certainly be useful in highly sensitive quantitative assays.
  • The RealPlex4 uses the same fixed 96 LED method for generating excitation light. Hence, there are no moving parts, making the fluorescence monitoring very quiet.
